Dear Pam, and other PN partners:
As the posts below say, if you were unable to attend Mike Akins' exceptional Training last night, you missed a message that touched our hearts. Mike helped us to 'see the future' -- and that's because he is a visionary leader who speaks "truth" based on a history of 35+ years of knowlege, research, hands-on experience and enormous success in this industry.
For those who couldn't hear him (and for those who could), I will 'attempt' to give you a brief recap of his message (Part I of 3 Parts). Please understand that this is "my" version of it...
What is SO refreshing about Mike's messages and coaching is that he speaks softly and enthusiastically, and with such honesty, sincerity and purpose. This is foreign in our industry I feel. With Mike, there is energy - but NO hype. There is NO sales pitch. There is wisdom - from a master mentor.
Mike opened with a few words of "thanks" to his PN family -- for the efforts we all share in our crusade of Bringing Transfer Factor to The World -- and for the loyalty and the spirit of joining him on his quest (of developing a $10 million dollar annual income during the next few years, so that he can finance his personal goals in social/health research programs).
He touched on the fact that as a TEAM, we can dream together -- struggle together -- and reach success together.
INTRODUCTION - As a backdrop to his main message, Mike gave us a warning about "imparting information" to others. Information is something we know is vital -- but WRONG information can really "hurt" people if we're not careful (it can impact negatively on their
business success - on their personal lives - even on their marriages). It is absolutely critical that when giving information -- we speak the "truth" -- based on FACT.
WHY 4LIFE WILL BE A $BILLION COMPANY (Part I)

Many MLMs fail -- far more fail, than succeed. The reasons are complex.
Mike stressed that 4Life Research will be around for decades -- that it will become a $billion company -- based on a PROJECTION -- from research and statistics that are reliable. The foundation for this "information" is NOT 'education by ILLUSION' --nor is it born from HYPE - or from HOPE. It is crafted in part, from the STRENGTH of deep research and analysis based on a 3 year independent STUDY of the history of over 300 MLM companies / their founders / their products / their missions / their marketing strategies / their track records / their downlines / their compensation plans / on and on.
WHERE DOES 'GROWTH' COME FROM? - Mike re-emphasized that most people today are educated by ADVERTISING HYPE -- and that we need to set the right example - and give them accurate and "honest" information. He then touched on three (3) different ways that GROWTH develops...
(1) ==> MARKETING - There are successful $billion companies out there today WITHOUT $billion "products". Why? -- Because of "marketing spin" and "hype". Some focus 'only' on the SPEED of that growth (how fast can the Big Hitters make "mega-riches"? -- how many MLMs can they "jump ship" from within the 90-day cycle and get to the next 'money-game'?). Most often these Growth Spurts are fuelled by what are known as DRIVERS -- those Big Guns with all the charisma, who know how to push all the Hot Buttons of John Q. Public.
Conversely, we see some very GOOD companies that "don't" succeed -- because of POOR Marketing strategies. And FAST is not always "good" -- because they often don't "last" long term. Major KEYS to correct marketing protocol are -- laying the right FOUNDATION for "solid" growth -- selecting the right PEOPLE for solid growth -- and operating under the right PRINCIPLES for solid growth ==> and 4Life // PN come out with an AAA+ on all counts (my vote!).
(2) ==> COMPENSATION - In analyzing this critical factor, we have to probe -- HOW do they compensate? -- WHO do they compensate? -- Does it 'reward' the RIGHT BEHAVIORS? -- Is it FAIR? -- Is it BALANCED (for the people at ALL tier levels)? Does it bring together the right PRINCIPLES?
We need to 'know' WHAT the basis is for our CONNECTION with our Teams -- Is it the MONEY? If so - that spells TROUBLE -- because we must remember -- it takes "3" people USING PRODUCT, to get "1" person as a BUSINESS BUILDER. We always need to concentrate our efforts on the HUMANITY factor -- the building of TRUST -- the forming of RELATIONSHIPS -- the offering of caring SUPPORT. ==> 4Life // PN receive a AAA+ here too (my vote again!).
(3) ==> PRODUCT STRATEGY - Think of the comparison between a company that "gets some outside SPIN DOCTOR" to blast away at the public through Advertising, with SMOKE and MIRRORS -- vs -- a company that "invests" in the BEST PEOPLE (management / research scientists / distributors) + "funds" huge $$ into advanced PRODUCT RESEARCH for the future, to support a Global CAUSE,
from the hearts of the Founders. And we really should ASK how Products are promoted (is it mostly from Testimonies? -- from Science? -- from Hype?) -- because whatever it is, will make a paradigm shift in the mindset of the public who are "exposed" to the products. WE need to put forth TRUTH -- FACTS -- REALITY -- STATISTICS == backed up with a sincere PASSION for what we are about. On ALL counts, 4Life // PN receive another AAA+ (my final vote, until we see Part II :>)
As I understand it, ALL of Mike's outstanding Trainings are available on cassette, so Pam (and any others who may want them), feel free to request them. You'll be glad you did.
